I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I grew up with Wayne and remember all of the adventures that we had as kids; playing at the "dump" until we were caked in mud or frozen stiff from being wet and cold. Wayne could pop a wheelie the longest and ride his bike backwards. We had the band Kaos back in the early 70's. It was truly the greatest time to grow-up in and with our circle of friends, or "the gang", it was the special times that made it great! Wayne will be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to Cathy and his family. Rest in Peace and Rock On Wayne!

Cathy, sorry to hear of your loss. Wayne was a great guy, we played music together years back with Kurt and Tommy Smith, and he filled in for a summer with one second's notice with our band "Breakaway" He certainly had a love of life ! Regards, Kevin Hughes, Raleigh, NC

I knew Wayne as my childhood friend Ken's brother. A few memories come back. Wayne and his band playing on the back patio - "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog". Wayne's being able to throw a ball vertically out of sight when we played ball on Acorn Drive. His being able to decimate the pins down at Mardi Bob. He could convert a 10 pin nick into a strike with that high speed delivery. RIP, Wayne.

Wayne and I were neighbors growing up on Acorn Dr. I was always amazed at his musical talent. Though I left Poughkeepsie years ago, I still cherish those childhood memories. May you rest in peace. God speed to you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss Cathy. I cherish my childhood memories growing up with Wayne. So many good times - hanging out at the creek, riding bikes (he could pop a wheelie for the longest distance) and playing outdoors all day until we were called in for dinner, making home movies, pool parties at his house; and of course, being a go-go dancer (age 12) with my sister while he practiced in our basement in his very first band with my brother Dave and neighborhood friend Steve. I remember how cool it was that they played rock and roll (Three Dog Night, etc.) at our church back in the early 70's. He will always be in my heart. Sending you my deepest condolences.

It's a sad day to learn that a good friend and a great
neighbor has passed.Wayne's vast knowledge of all
motors big and small with a special interest in
motorcycles made it a joy to chat with him.
May he rest in peace.
