Lillian Olsen Obituary
SOUTHINGTON, CT - Lillian R. Olsen, 84 , passed away on December 11, 2013 at the Southington Care Center.
Born June 16, 1929 in Staten Island, NY she was the daughter of the late Nils Jacob and Ragna (Bjorklund) Olsen.
Lillian was a graduate of Wagner College in Staten Island, NY with a degree in microbiology. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
Lillian leaves a brother-in-law, August Gary of Southington, CT; niece, Edith Olbrich and husband Paul of Southington and nephew Peter Gaczi and wife Melanie of Dresden, ME; two grandchildren, Paige LaChance and husband Keith of Southington and Drew Olbrich and wife Greta of CA; five great-grandchildren, Miranda and Axel Olbrich; Brooke, Cade and Cavan LaChance along with several cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters, Erna, Judith and Edith and a brother Aksel.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013, at 11am at Zion Lutheran Church, 531 Woodruff St., Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Southington Care Center, 55 Meriden Ave., Southington, CT 06489. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting with the arrangements.
