Louise Bubak Obituary
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Louise M. Bubak, 78, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 12, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 14, 1935 in Bronx, NY, she was a daughter to the late Gustav and Mary (Krupa) Lanyi. Louise will be remembered for her positive outlook and sense of humor. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She is survived by her son Ronald J. Bubak and his wife Virginia of Sheffield, MA, daughter Linda M. Clough and her husband, Garnet Drakiotes of South Windsor; and loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband Rudy Bubak, longtime companion Paul Patson, and brother Darwin Lanyi. Louise's family will greet family and friends from 10:30AM-11:00AM on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor with a celebration of Louise's life to begin at 11:00AM from the funeral home. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise's name to ALS Association, CT Chapter, 4 Oxford Rd., Unit D4, Milford, CT 06460 or Visiting Nurses & Health Services of CT; 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066. For online condolences please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com.
