The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

The Malones were a very special family to me as I grew up. As cousins, we were all close. Uncle Bill and Aunt Mary Ann were so wonderfull to the masses of kids that came running through their house. Uncle Bill had a natural delivery and could hold a group spellbound through a story and deliver the punch line that caused laughter to fill the room. Of course, his laugh always stood out. his laughter and joy will fill heaven.
My heart goes out to Aunt Mary Ann and my cousins. I just want them t know how much their dad was loved by us all.

So sad to hear of Mr. Malone passing.. our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of mourning such a wonderful man. Had a funny memory recently of Mr. Malone... one of those memorable nights at the Oradell house... Mr. Malone playing bartender and I was his "Brandy Alexander" virgin... delicious and innocent it its wee cordial glass... the aftermath hangover so memorable it was first and last time I drank a "Brandy Alexander" but the name always makes me think of Mr. Malone with a laugh! -Mary Geary

I remember my Uncle Bill as a kind and loving man. He was quiet but had an amazing sense of humor. He was also my godfather and I am thankful my parents chose him because he was such a wonderful role model in life and in our faith. To Aunt Mary Ann and their wonderful children-my heart is broken at your loss and I'm sure that Uncle Bill is sitting peacefully with Jesus (and my mom & Betty!!) Much love to you all and God bless......
