Frances C. Moore
Poughkeepsie - Frances C. Moore, age 78, of Poughkeepsie, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital Poughkeepsie, NY. Frances was born November 9, 1933 in Tivoli, NY. She is the daughter of the late Wallace and the late Florence Julia (Gay) Moore.
She retired from IBM Poughkeepsie as a Executive Secretary in 1988. Frances attended local schools and also attended the Albany Secretarial School. She was a local resident all of her life, she loved animals. Frances loved to garden, she had a green thumb and could make anything grow.
She is survived by ; Brother And Sister In-law, Wallace And Mary Ann (Keller) Moore Jr. of Austin Texas; Sister In Law, Barbara (McDermott) Moore of Chicago, ILL. Frances was also survived by her nieces and nephews, Mark Moore, Lee Moore, Patricia Moore, Charles Wm. Moore Jr., Katherine Rohan Moore, Thomas James Moore and Linda Gay Moore. She was predeceased by her sister and brother in-law Elizabeth Ann and William J. Hurlihe and her brother Charles William Moore.
Calling hours will be Friday, October 5, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.
There will be a private graveside service at the Red Church Cemetery, Route 9G, Tivoli, NY.
