Frank Scofield Obituary

Frank "Bud" Scofield, 80 passed away January 22, 2011 at home.

Frank was a retired Correctional officer from Mattawan NYS Correctional Facility.

He served in the United States Army during Korea as a Corporal with the Army Corp of Engineers.

Bud was a life member and Past Chief of Fishkill Protection Engine Company and Glenham Fire Department , Life Charter member of Rombout Fire Department and associate member of Dutchess Junction, and a life member of the East Hook Sportsman Association.

Bud was a member of VFW Post 1286, the American Legion Post 0049 and the Beacon Elks. He was a member of the Fishkill Exempt Benevolent Association and a retired Deputy Sheriff for the Dutchess County Sheriff's Department.

Survivors include his loving children Stephen and Sharon Scofield, 2 brothers Ken and Glenn Scofield. Cherished grandchildren Kyle and Lise Campbell and 4 loving great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret Scofield and his wife Lorraine Nelson in 1997.

Friends may call on Monday January 24, 2011 from 4 to 8pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home 1028 Main Street, Fishkill. A Firematic service will be held at 7pm at the funeral home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2011 at 10am at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery with full military honors.
