Anne M. Aspbury Deem
PLEASANT VALLEY - Anne M. Aspbury Deem, 49, of Mountain Top, PA. and formerly of Pleasant Valley,NY, died suddenly at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie,NY on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Born in Poughkeepsie on September 23, 1964, she was the daughter of late Alan Aspbury and Edith Haight Aspbury of Mountain Top,Pa.. Anne was a graduate of Arlington High School, Class of 1982. On October 13, 1990 at St. Stanislaus Church in Pleasant Valley, she married Kenneth W. Deem. Anne enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower beds around her home. She also enjoyed strolling through the neighborhood and sitting on the deck of her home reading books and watching for the deer, turkeys and bear to come and visit. She loved spending time with her family and pets.
She was employed by Weis Supermarket in Mountain Top in the produce department.
Anne is survived by her dear mother Edith Aspbury of Mountain Top,Pa.; her devoted husband Kenneth W. Deem of Mountain Top,Pa.; her beloved children, Sarah E. Deem, Kelsey N. Deem and Ryan K. Deem, all of Mountain Top,Pa.; her sister in law, Jenny Asbury and her children Michael and Daniel Aspbury of Matthews, N.C.; her mother in law, Beann Deem of New Ringgold,Pa.; 3 brothers in law and their wives; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Alan Aspbury, her brother Alan Aspbury, her aunt and uncle Charles and Jutta Haight and her father in law Kenneth Deem.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 4 from 6-8 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 5 at 11am from the funeral home. Interment will follow in Nine Partners Cemetery.
A Memorial Service will also be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 12 noon from the Mountain Top Family Church, Mountain Top,Pa.
