Poughkeepsie - Patricia Fox, 71 years old, a resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away March 24, 2014 at The Pines at Poughkeepsie. She was born July 20, 1942 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the daughter of the late Earl Dedrick and Lillian Hartnett. Patricia worked for Western Printing for many years until they closed. She then worked for IBM as an administrative specialist until her retirement. She is survived by her sons, Henry Fox and his wife, Sandi, Coupeville, Washington, Michael Fox, State of Washington, one sister, Sheila Bogart and her husband Carl, Poughkeepsie, NY; three brothers, Earl Dedrick and his wife Lynda, Thomasville, GA, Ronald Dedrick, Poughkeepsie, NY and James Dedrick, Thomasville, GA; two granddaughters; Angeline Washburn and her husband Dustin, Aurora, CO, and April Halliday and her husband, Adam, Poughkeepsie, NY, and her ex-daughter-in-law Heidi Fox of Poughkeepsie, NY. She is also survived by three aunts, Shirley Bodley of Hyde Park, NY, MaryEllen Ulbrandt of Poughkeepsie, NY and Brenda DeWitt of Accord, NY; cousin Carolyn Duclos and her husband Ronald, Pleasant Valley, NY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Estelle Whispell. Pat loved to read, bowl, go to casinos and do garage sales. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. The family would like to thank everyone at The Pines at Poughkeepsie for all the love and care they gave Patricia. It was certainly appreciated. There are no calling hours. In keeping with Patricia's wishes, cremation will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy P.
