FISHKILL - Lance W. Giancotti, 57, a resident of Fishkill for 24 years and formerly of Mount Vernon, died on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Manhattan on January 8, 1957, he was the son of the late Louis and June Bond Giancotti. Lance was employed as an electrician with Local #3 in New York City. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially bowling at Fishkill Bowl.
On April 21, 1979 at St. John the Apostle Church in Yonkers, Lance married Donna Stokas who survives at home. He is also survived by his sons, Jason of Fishkill, Christopher and his wife Jessica of Beacon, Corey of Fishkill, Nicholas of Fishkill and Cody of Fishkill; his brothers and their wives, Michael and Kathy of CT, Scott and Deidre of Hopewell Junction, Glenn and Lisa of Yonkers; his sister, April of VA; his mother-in-law, Mary Ann Stokas of Fishkill; his brothers-in-law, Chris Stokas of Fishkill, Alex Stokas and his wife Samantha of Marlboro; and his nephew, Brian Dykzinszki of Poughkeepsie. He was predeceased by his son, Matthew Giancotti, on February 6, 2006; and his niece, Kelly Ann Giancotti.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 7-9pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill.
