Rose T. Rusnock

Poughkeepsie - Rose T. Rusnock, age 90, of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Quaker Hill Manor in Hyde Park, New York. Previously she resided at The Manor at Woodside in Poughkeepsie for six years. Rose was born March 7, 1924 in Penns Grove, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Elizabeth King Smith. She married Ronald Andrew Rusnock on September 12th 1964 in the Bronx. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Andrew Rusnock, he died on June 22, 2008.

Ron and Rose were employed by Executive Towers in Poughkeepsie as Resident Managers for many years and made lasting friendships with many people.

Rose was a member of the Mid-Hudson Ballroom Association, she loved to do Interior Decorating and she genuinely enjoyed dressing up and going out to Ben and Esthers Ballroom Dance classes and to many different dances with her husband Ronald. She is also much loved and remembered for her generous and kind spirit and was so very proud of her family.

She is survived by her son and his fiancé Jay K. Rusnock and Angela Lee of Wappingers Falls, NY; her daughter , son inlaw and their family, Sarah and Edward Agnew of New Jersey and her son Michael A. Rusnock and his significant other Leslie Carroll of Poughkeepsie, NY.and her 2 granddaughters Alyssa M.and Brandi M. Rusnock, both of Red Hook, NY.

Burial will be in private and at the convenience of the family.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rose's name may be made to Hospice Foundation, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 or to the Mid Hudson Friends of NRA, 21 Losee Rd., Wappingers Falls, NY 12590
