BEACON - Eureen Brathwaite-Wiltshire of Beacon, NY and formerly of Barbados, West Indies was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday July 20th at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY.

She left us in the same peaceful and quite way for which she lived her life, after few short months after being diagnosis with Cancer. She was a homemaker who spent her life caring not only for her siblings, her children, grandchildren and others both adults and children who simply adopted her as "Mom" or"Gramdma".

Her family takes great comfort in knowing she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior under the leadership of Pastor Michael Dandridge of Faith Temple.

She is survived by her husband Carlton E. Wiltshire of Beacon, New York, her Mother, Doris Brathwaite of Brooklyn, NY & Glebe Land St. George. Two sons, Everton Wiltshire of Danbury, CT, and Richardo Brathwaite of St. Phillip Barbados. Two daughters, Denise Wiltshire-Husbands of Beacon, NY and Cheryl Brathwaite of Barbados. 11 grandchildren: Kamron & Kyra Husbands of Beacon, NY, Demetrius Darius and Damaris of Danbury, CT, and Shanisha, Shawayne, Krystal, Shavez, Rickala, and Ricardo Jr. of Barbados; ten sisters, Brenda Brathwaite-Howell, Monica Ermel-Vonda, Jocelyn and Jacqueline Brathwaite of Brooklyn, Muriel GittenspGrimes, Mrs. Ianthe Gittens-Cumberbatch, Ielda Gittens, Jacquelyn Gittens; eleven brothers, Randolph Brathwaite of FL & former member of the Royal Barbados Police Force and the US Army, Richard Brathwaite of Canada, Errol, Harley, Anderson and Glendon Brathwaite; Darnley Grimes, Everton Gittens, Rufus Gittens, Rudolph Gittens, Lemual Gittens of Barbados; two aunts, Drusilla Walcott and Lucille Brathwaite of St. Geroge Barbados; two uncles George Brathwaite of Barbados & Clyde Brathwaite of Brooklyn,NY; a daughter-in-law, Maxine Cole-Wiltshire; three sisters-in-law, Norma Wiltshire & Egla "Dolly" Howard of Barbados and Carmen Brathwaite of Florida; five brothers-in-law, Bertrum Knight and Joseph Wiltshire of New York, Carlton Howell, Spencer & Winston of Barbados. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends in and around New York, Barbados, Canada and England.

She was preceded in death by her dad the late Clyde Gittens, a sister Alma Cittens and brother Sylvan Gittens.

Her memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Faith Temple COGIC, 22 North Cedar Street, Beacon, NY at 3pm August 3rd, 2012. There will be no viewing during the memorial services. The family will be preparing for travel to Barbados where the formal funeral servics will be held and her body will rest. Those services will be held on August 21, 2012 at St George's Parish Church, Glebe Land St George Barbados, Arrangements will be conducted by Sonia Craigwell Funeral Services (246) 438-9232,
