What great memories we have of Stella from our years at Church with her. Her bright smile and love for others was a reflection of her faith in and love for Jesus. You, her famiy, will miss her but can rejoice in the joy she now has. We are now in MI but always enjoyed the welcome back we got from Stella on our visits back to Poughkeepsie.

Stella Spice was a wonderful lady, and the best mother my best friend John Spice could ever have. It was privilege to know her for so many years. She had to suffer through many a Mets baseball season, but like the optimist she was, she could always find a silver lining there. And she also baked a mean batch of holiday cookies each year that rivaled the best of anyone's Mom. Mrs. Spice was one-of-a-kind.

So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I remember she was a good friend of my Mom's (Alice Alexander) in the old May St. neighborhood.
