Charles E. Weber

WAPPINGERS FALLS - Charles E. Weber, 81, a resident of Wappingers Falls for 40 years and formerly of Yonkers, died on Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Elant at Fishkill.

Born in Yonkers on February 14, 1932, he was the son of Eric and Ana Anton Weber. Charles proudly served our country in the US Marine Corps. He was employed as a manager for the New York Telephone Company in Manhattan for 35 years until his retirement in 1984. He was a parishioner of St. Columba Church and a member of the Southern Dutchess Country Club.

On October 25, 1953 at St. Peter's Church in Yonkers, Charles married Dolores T. Maher who predeceased him on August 2, 2002. He is survived by his sister, Bernice Schoenfeld of Carson, VA; his brothers, Eric Weber of Blauvelt and John Weber and wife Maria of Wappingers Falls; his brother-in-law, William Maher of Wappingers Falls; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Weber.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Interment will be in St. Denis Cemetery.
