MILLBROOK - Charlotte M. Rotunno, 107, of Millbrook, NY died Wednesday, June 26, 2013.

Born in Millbrook, March 25, 1906, she was the daughter of Alberto and Teresa Velletri Rotunno.

Charlotte attended Millbrook schools. She worked as a milliner and dressmaker in Mrs. Moore's Hat Shop in Millbrook.

In 1929 Charlotte went into business for herself with money she had borrowed. Charlotte's Hat and Dress Shop was moved to its permanent location in 1941 and was a fixture of Millbrook for over 60 years.

Miss Rotunno is survived by her sister Theresa A. Rotunno of Millbrook and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers Noreda, Albert, Andrew, Frank and Augustine and sisters Mary Velletri, Nicolina, Katherine and Madeline Rotunno.

Charlotte was a contributor to several local charities and was a long-time parishioner and supporter of St. Joseph's Church in Millbrook.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 27 from 5:30 - 7:30PM at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Avenue, Millbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 28 at 12 noon at St. Joseph's Church, North Avenue, Millbrook.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
