Lupole, Donald H.
Newark Valley: Donald H. Lupole, 89, of Newark Valley passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Riverview Manor. Don was predeceased by his parents, Sheldon and Florence Lupole; brother, Robert Lupole; and sister, Marion Makarowski. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Lupole; children, Donald (Sherri) Lupole of OH, Mike (Connie) Lupole of OH, Carolyn (Ladd) Yost of Candor, Steve (Chong Ae) Howe of FL, Sandy (Mark) Kwiakowski of Owego; brother, Keith (Dody) Lupole of Johnson City; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Don retired from IBM in Owego in 1984. He was a proud Army Veteran who was a member of the VFW Post #1371 in Owego and the American Legion Post #907 in Candor. He loved to mow. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego with Rev. Parrish Bridges officiating and burial to follow in Tioga Cemetery. Family invites friends to call from 11: 00 to 11:45 am prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in Don's name to Weltonville Fire Co., 150 Lower Fairfield Road, Newark Valley, NY 13811 or a charity of one's choice.
