Osborne, M. Jeanne (Bruuner) Binghamton: M. Jeanne (Bruuner) Osborne, of Binghamton, 89 passed away on November 22, 2014 at Elizabeth Church Manor. She was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin & Nina Brunner, husband, Charles J. Osborne, brother, Robert Brunner, brother-in-laws, John Osborne, Larry Miller and Wes Porter. Jeanne is survived by her son, William Osborne and daughter, Janice & Paul McMahon; along with grandchildren, Lindsey & Daniel Williams and Patrick McMahon and great grandchildren, Rowen and Keira Williams. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty & Ralph King, Alice Brunner, brother-in-law, George & Ruth Osborne, sister-in-laws, Helen Osborne and Mary Porter and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jeanne was born in Olean, NY and graduated from Olean High School, SUNY Geneseo and St. Bonaventure University. She taught in Perry and Portville, NY before marrying Charles Osborne in 1950. Jeanne and Chuck moved to Binghamton to join the staff at Chenango Valley Central Schools. Chuck taught Social Studies and Jeanne taught 5th grade until becoming the Elementary Principal at Nimmonsburg, Port Crane and Port Dickinson. They retired to the state of Maine for 15 years before returning to the area as their health began to decline. During their retirement, Jeanne enjoyed traveling in their RV, stenciling, quilting, baking and entertaining friends and family. And don't forget the dogs!, she loved her dogs. Family meant everything to Jeanne she loved them all especially the youngest ones and her son Bill who worked so tirelessly to care for her these past 10 years. Family and friends will gather November 29, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, NY 13901. A Celebration oh her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chenango Valley Student Scholarship Fund, Attn: Chuck Purce, 221 Chenango Bridge Rd., Binghamton, NY 13901 or the Community Foundation, Attn. Dr. Chaffee Memorial Fund, 520 Columbia #100, Johnson City, NY 13790. Jeanne's family would like to thank all the friends who visited, called or sent notes when Jeanne could no longer get about. They would also like to thank her doctors, the staff of Good Shepherd Fairview and Elizabeth Church Manor, and all the private care givers who treated mom with compassion and dignity. Special thanks to Peg, Cindy, Leslie, Linda and Molly.

Osman, Marcella L. Binghamton: Marcella L. Osman, 76, of 1 St. John Ave, Binghamton, NY, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was born October 15, 1938 in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her first husband "Tim" Lamont and her second husband Joe Osman. She is survived by one sister, one brother, three children, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Her children are eternally grateful to her Binghamton families for the joy they brought her, whether is was lunch at Little Venice/Red Lobster or sharing their precious pets. She was an avid antiquer and collector. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. ARRANGEMENTS ARE BY AEGIS CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICES, 196 CLINTON ST, BINGHAMTON, NY.
