Rent, Stephen L. Stephen L. Rent, 52, of Endicott died on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. He was predeceased by his father Edward F. Rent. He is survived by his children, Brandon and his wife Tasha, Lauren and Nicholas; one granddaughter Savannah and a granddaughter to be born in October Skyler; his mother M. Joan Rent, Endicott; four brothers and sisters-in-laws, Edward Jr. and Diane Rent, Virginia Beach, VA, Tim and Susan Rent, Endwell, Tom Rent, Minneapolis, MN, Paul and Cindy Rent, Grover, NC; nieces and nephews. He was a former employee of Armstrong Telecom. Stephen was passionate of his mini bikes and Schwinn stingrays. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Friday from 4-7 p.m.

Ripley, Marion L.  
Ripley, Marion L. Marion L. Ripley, 91, of Conklin formerly of Ithaca, passed away after a long illness on July 13, 2015. She was predeceased by her loving husband Nelson M. Ripley and parents Clarence and Catharine Landon of Canisteo, NY. She is survived by her devoted son James M. Ripley of Conklin, NY; brother Gilbert (Erma) Landon of Safety Harbor, FL; two granddaughters Melanie (James) Pandich of Binghamton, NY, Beth (Kyle) Bultman Rochester, NY; brother-in-law Burr (Betty) Ripley of Ithaca, NY; sister-in-law Cressence (Ken) Bloss of Spencerport, NY; and many cherished nieces, nephews and extended family. Marion was born in Hornell, NY; grew up in Canisteo, NY and graduated from Canisteo High School. She graduated from the Technical College of Alfred (Alfred State) and worked at Strong Memorial for a short time before devoting her time to her most fond career as a homemaker. Marion was an avid crafter especially in using naturally sourced materials. She enjoyed spending many hours sewing, collecting and making dresses for dolls. She loved to decorate cakes which she was truly talented at and made them for many family, friends and hired by others in the community. Marion was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ithaca, NY and attended Heritage United Methodist Church in Clearwater, FL. She had been a member of the P.E.O. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1pm at the First Congregational Church, 309 Highland Road, Ithaca, NY; The Rev. Dr. David A. Kaden officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Canisteo, NY at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lourdes Hospice 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.

Rizzi, Roger Michael  
Roger Michael Rizzi, 78 of Vestal, passed away at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents Vito and Palmera Rizzi; three sisters Madeline Rizzi; Mary Marino and Ida DeDio and a brother Vito Rizzi. He is survived by his beloved wife Brenda J. Rizzi, Vestal; two daughters Maureen Borek, Florida and Sandra Rizzi and Guy House, Castle Creek; four loving grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a step daughter Wendy Hicks; step sons Robert Stanley and Scott (Kandi) Stanley; three step grandchildren and one step great grandchild, all of Virginia; a sister Antoinette Allio, Binghamton; three brothers and sisters in law Sam and Penny Rizzi, Florida; Lou Rizzi, Binghamton and Arthur and Cathy Rizzi, Endwell; his beloved Paco and Panda; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott and a retired IBM Corp. employee, retiring after 27 years of service. Roger was a member of the Bill Flynn Polka Fan Club. He enjoyed his yearly trips to Mexico. He was an avid builder, gardener and die hard New York Giants Fan. Roger also enjoyed his daily trips to McDonald's for coffee with his wife, friends and buddy Frankie. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Sunday from 4-7 pm. A Prayer Service will be held Sunday evening at 6:45 PM by Rev. Dennis Ruda, friend of the family. Expressions of sympathy in Roger's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Roberts, Stephen D. Stephen D. Roberts left this world unexpectedly on August 5, 2015 to go to the greatest rock concert ever. Stephen is the beloved son of Patricia S. Jordan, of Endicott, NY and Neil and Evelyn Roberts of Endwell, NY. He is also survived by his loving brother, Jeffrey Roberts and wife Ann, nephews Didrik, Rasmus, and niece Lotte Roberts of Norway, his favorite Aunt Lizzie Mahoney and cousins Danielle, Shawn, Damion, Rusty, Naomi, Pam, Cathy, Lorri, Beth, and Mark, aunts Mary Mahoney and Sally Roberts, and many friends. Steve graduated from Harpursville Central School and SUNY Delhi. He worked in the restaurant business for over 25 years, mostly recently at Ruby Tuesday in Deer Park, NY. He was an avid Eagles fan, loved attending rock concerts, spending time with his friends and family, and watching the skies. Steve had a big heart and would help anyone in need. Rock on, Steve. You are greatly missed. Please join us for a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 1:00pm at the First Congregational Church on the corner of Front and Main Streets in Binghamton, NY. Ross, Beatrice K. Beatrice K. Ross, 85, went to join her family in heaven on Saturday, August 22, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings and daughter, Carla. She is survived by her children, Donald and Patricia Ross, Richard Ross, and Kevin Bly; grandchildren, William, David, Michael, Christopher, Samuel, Jennifer, Matthew, Stephanie, Lisa and Joshua; several great-grandchildren including Bryant who she had a special bond with; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Wm R Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with a burial to follow in Nanticoke Cemetery, Nanticoke, NY. Rotundo, Phyllis  
Rotundo, Phyllis Phyllis R. Rotundo, 89, of Brown Avenue, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Born June 20, 1926, in Johnson City, NY, Phyllis was the daughter of Jesse and Ruth (Williams) Loveland. She was a 1944 graduate of Windsor High School. After high school, Phyllis worked in various capacities at Endicott-Johnson shoe factory, Norwich Shoe Company, Norwich Pharmacal, NBT Bank and Victory Markets. She retired after working as a keypunch operator at Victory Markets. Phyllis very much enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting. She also treasured her feline companion, Penny, who she often mentioned as being her "guardian angel." On April 22, 1955, at St. Bartholomew's Church in Norwich, Phyllis married her husband, and love of her life, Joseph A. Rotundo. Joseph passed away on July 9, 1997. Phyllis is survived by her children, Brent Rotundo and his wife, Kathleen of Maryland, NY, Frances Nucero and her husband, Sam of Norwich, Patricia Rotundo, of Norwich, who was Phyllis' primary caregiver, Elizabeth Rotundo and her spouse, Lori of Albany and Julie Winner of Oxford. She is also survived by grandchildren, Vincent Nucero and his wife, Sarah and Natalie Nucero, Christopher and Ronald Rotundo, Mary Robuck, Tara Winner-Swete, Rhonda Dodzweit, and Jeffrey Winner. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Phyllis was predeceased by sisters, Naomi Roberts and Alice Osborne; brother, Alfred O'Leary and grandson Thomas Winner. Funeral services for Phyllis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at St. Paul's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Contributions in Phyllis' memory may be made to the Chenango County SPCA, 6160 County Road 32, Norwich, NY 13815 or the Roots & Wings Food Pantry, 34-36 Berry Street, Norwich, NY 13815.
