He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia of Binghamton; his children, Rose and Brian McNierney, Apalachin; Annette Brigiotta, Binghamton; Joseph Brigiotta and fiancée Rachael Allis, Binghamton; Mary and Daniel Clutz, Castle Creek; and Anthony Brigiotta, Binghamton; his grandchildren who were the light of his life: Emily and Evan McNierney, Apalachin; Alyssa and Ben Brigiotta, Binghamton; Alexandra and Jacob Clutz, Castle Creek; Giahnna and Elena Brigiotta; Binghamton; his sister, Mary Brigiotta of Binghamton; many special cousins and his best friend in the world, Louie Basile. Tony worked for the US Postal Service in Binghamton for more than thirty years and was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Johnson City and the Italian Lunch Bunch. He enjoyed golfing and going to Tioga Downs, and in his younger years, he was an avid bowler. Tony had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off of his back to anybody in need. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Tony acquired the nickname "Baca" when his granddaughter Emily was younger and couldn't say grandpa. The name stuck and Tony became our sweet Baca. And he was the best Baca ever. The family would like to thank Dr. Ramanujan and the wonderful angels on the South Tower 5th Floor at Wilson Hospital who cared for Tony during his final days.
