Edward Sullivan, 78 of Vestal, went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2014. He was pre-deceased by his parents John and Mary Sullivan. Surviving are his loving wife, Beverly; son, Michael; daughter, Deborah Walker; grandchildren, Thomas and JohnMichael Walker; sisters, Jacky, Jody, Rosemary and Terry; brother, Jim; and his beloved dog, Sandy. Ed was a past member of the Vestal Fire Department and was considered one of the best chefs they had. He was also a police officer for Johnson City Police for many years. Ed enjoyed singing and playing his guitar as well as hunting, fishing, boating and riding his motorcycle. Funeral services for Edward will be held on Monday February 17 at 12 noon at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home 765 Main St., Vestal. Fr. John Kurgan will officiate. Calling hours will be held from 10 to 12 before the service. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to your local Humane Society.
