Esther was born September 24, 1921 in Johnson City, NY. Our Mom and Nana enjoyed her flowers and spent many long hours in her flower beds making her yard a beautiful place throughout the growing season. She enjoyed Yankee baseball, rarely missing a game on TV or radio. She loved to knit and made every newborn in her family a special sweater set to celebrate their birth. Most of all, she loved her family and spent many years celebrating birthdays, holidays, picnics, and sports events. She treasured her memories with our Dad and talked frequently about their life together, whether it was about their family, many travels, or times at Camp in Big Moose. Esther was a longtime member of Community Baptist Church of Port Dickinson. She will be greatly missed by her family who were grateful for the life they shared with her. Sincere appreciation to Dr. Steven Spivak for his many years of care and the Lourdes Hospice program for their service over the last five days of our Mother and Grandmother's life. A graveside service will be held on Mom & Dad's wedding anniversary, December 8th, for her immediate family. Steven Chastain will officiate. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery in Hillcrest. Arrangements by AEGIS CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICES, 196 CLINTON ST., BINGHAMTON, NY.
