Geraldine K. Corson, 78, of Maine, went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 4, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin H. Corson; parents, Keith and Lina Knapp; and two brothers, Robert and Glenn Knapp. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Kenneth) Donholt, Maine and Kim Gorton and Charlie Capwell, Cincinnatus; one son, Joseph (Peggy) Corson, Binghamton; five grandchildren, Katelyn, Edward, Holly, Nathan, and Nancy; seven great-grandchildren; eight sisters, Lucille Roberts, Vestal, Louise (Ray) Ellis, Binghamton, Barbara Knapp, Johnson City, Jeanette Chernega, Campville, Elizabeth Page, Binghamton, Karen (John) Avery, Endicott, Paula (George) Hegedus, Texas and Melanie (Craig) Sullivan, North Carolina; three brothers, Paul Knapp, David Knapp, both of Endicott and Richard Knapp, Johnson City; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Geraldine was a member of Nanticoke United Methodist Church, retired I.B.M. Corporation employee, retiring after twenty-five years of service and a member of the Woman of the Moose Club. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 PM from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. Reverends Raymond Bartholomew and Dean Masland will officiate. Interment will be in Maine Cemetery, Maine, New York. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Friday from 6-8 PM. The Woman of the Moose Club will conduct a Memorial service Friday evening at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Geraldine may be made to , Southern Tier Regional Office, Nichols Notch, 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, New York 13760 or Maine Volunteer Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 157, Maine, New York 13802.
