Coffey, James Ray, Jr.
Jimmy passed on January 10, 2013 at the ripe age of 52. He was born on June 2, 1960 in Denver. James grew up in his parents appliance business, this laid the groundwork for his visionary talents. He went on to pursue solar technologies in college and he served in the Navy. One of his greatest accomplishments was a bridge built in Virginia where Amanda was born. Jimmy's wonderful ability to change the landscape into miraculous feats, to create a new and make it everlasting among his specialties! Jim is survived by his wife Mary, his daughter Amanda, and his son Nicholas. James is the descendant of James Sr. and Marilyn Coffey, also predeceased by his brother Wayne. Jimmy loved his children, helping others always helping when his neighbors called, motorcycles, skiing, hunting trips to Colorado, Nascar, Simba and family. His kind heart is what drew us to love him so very much. Thank you to all the families for all their prayers and help, his sisters Pat Weber and Sandy Shanker, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and cousins, the Shurtliff family, Alice (and John) Riley and family, the Comerotas, Poolers, Hydes, and Springs. Special thanks to Curtis, Miriah, Makala and Austin Springs for their immediate care of James. His legacy lives on through Amanda and Nicholas with his attention to detail and extraordinary restoration projects. Jim had such a caring personality that drove his strange ambition to help others along the roadsides and in his community. Blessed with his handcrafted cupboards, shelves, fences and more we all continue to enjoy. Happy Birthday into Heaven Jim! We love you so very, very much!!!
