Johnson City: 87, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, June 8th 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Victoria Losier, brothers, Leonard and Robert and wives, Helen Allardice and Nancy Smith. He is survived by his sisters, Cecilia Lennox, Rita Losier and Leona Gavin; four children, John and Megan Losier, Robert and Mary Losier, Greg and Carol Losier and Mary "Mini" Collins; 17 grandchildren Kerianne, Christy, Daniel, Katie, TJ, Robert and Anna, Joey, David, William, Bryan, Kristin, Kaitlin, Matthew, Melody, Heidi Losier and Joel and Alicia Collins; step children, Claudia and Michael Connerton, Christopher Crawford and Brenda, Craig Crawford, Clark Crawford, Charles Crawford, Curtis Crawford, Caryn and George Hughes and Collin and Cortney Crawford. He was a member of the church of The Holy Family, Endwell, and gave generously of his time to charitable causes. He was a veteran of WWII and Korean War, served in the US Coast Guard and Merchant Marines, and a retired IBM Corp. employee. Joe graduated from North Tarrytown high school in 1944 and earned a BS in mathematics degree at Sienna College in 1952. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed traveling, skiing and playing tennis and golf. Special thanks to his dear friend, Terri Haughton, John Perry and staff at Endwell Family Physicians for their great care and friendship, and all of his friends throughout the years. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis St, Endwell on Friday, June 13th at 10 a.m. with Father Rumble officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc. 428 Main St., Johnson City, Thursday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Joe may be made to The Holy Family Church at 3600 Phyllis St. Endicott NY 13760.
