Richard K. Page, 92, ended his worldly sojourn on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 after a brief illness and a long life. He was predeceased by his parents Charles & Mary (Paris); brothers Robert & Charles (sister-in-law Elizabeth); sister Martha (brother-in-law Joseph) Eddy; his wife of 60 years Mae (Murphy); son Charles Patrick; daughter-in-law Peggy (Hannifin); and several sisters and brothers-in-law. He was a WWII US Army Veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater and receiving a Purple Heart as a result of his service. He attended Hamilton College and desired to be a writer but realized he needed to support himself. He was employed by the Town of Union prior to entering the private sector where his final position was with Macintosh Labs. He enjoyed golf, travel, collecting and most importantly his grandchildren. He was always available to offer counsel. His wry humor, wit and insight will be greatly missed. A private funeral service will be held at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. His internment will be along side his wife at the Riverside Cemetery.
