Stanley (Stosh) Campbell a.k.a. the Big Guy, 80, of Endwell, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 23, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 23, 1932, he was predeceased by his parents John T. and M. Blanche Campbell; brothers John W., Richard, and Edward Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jeannette; son, David and his mother Joyce Campbell of Vestal; brother, Gerald Campbell; sisters, Mary, Loretta, and Barbara Campbell, all of Endicott, and sister-in-law, Jane Campbell of California. Stanley is also survived by nephews and nieces, Jerry, Dennis, Kevin (Laurie), John, Linda (Rocco) Fragnito, and Patrick, Mark, Keith, Lory, Karen (Jamie) Warden, and Kenneth. Great nephews and nieces, Sean (Amy), Nicole Fragnito, Alexander, Kelly and Kent, Jeffery and Steven Warden, and Shane. Aunt Helen Cecil of Durham, NC, several cousins, and many dear friends: Mary Cavallero, Mary Calcughini, Theresa Kocur, Joyce Tripp, Larry McKeon, and Michael Oh. Stanley was a retired employee of the General Electric Corporation in Westover and a member of the Quarter Century Club. In his remaining years, he enjoyed his many trips to the casinos, Friday afternoon lunches at Mama T's with his friends Minnie, Jack, Jim, and Julie, summer weekends on Seneca lake, cheering for the Boston Red Sox's, the Buffalo Bills, and the Syracuse Orangemen. He will always be remembered as the Chairman and CEO of his Monday Afternoon Club, where family and friends would gather for good food, cold beers, and plenty of laughs. Stosh was a lifelong member of St Ambrose Church of Endicott. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank Lourdes Hospice for the support and kindness shown throughout Stanley's illness. A special thanks to Pam, Caroline, and Dr. Harris. A very special thanks to Ashley for her private care and Mike for his care, fine soup, and mac & cheese. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lourdes Hospice in his memory. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Memorial Mass at St. Ambrose Church at 11 am. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Friday from 4-7pm.
