Rosenbaum, Renee B.

Renee B. Rosenbaum, 79, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2011 after a long illness.

Born in the Bronx, NY, on August 5, 1931, Renee was the daughter of Abraham and Lillie Barish.

Renee was a resident of Fishkill, NY for 48 years. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Poughkeepsie. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and music. She particularly loved attending her grandsons musical events. Renee is survived by her daughters, Deborah and her husband Steve, and Carol, and her grandsons, Matthew and Zachary, and her "granddog," Yogi, all of Vestal, NY .

In addition to her parents, Renee was predeceased by her husband, Noel, and her son, Carl Benjamin.

Her family would like to express their sincere thanks to the patient and caring staff of the STAR unit at James G. Johnston Memorial Nursing home in Johnson City.

At her request, she will be cremated and burial will be at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be planned.

Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
