Stella Scelsi Obituary
Stella (Pelino) Scelsi, of Endwell, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Wednesday, May 1, 2013. She was predeceased by Anthony Pelino, Joel A. Scelsi; brothers Frank and Dino Alessi and two sons in law Dan Dwyer and Ben Casella. She is survived by her children, Anita Casella, Theresa (Charles) DeLorenzo, Anthony Pelino, Diane Dwyer, Suzanne (Scott) Aldridge and Sylvana (Rick) Dodd; her grandchildren, Cris (Michelle), Jason, Stacey (Patrick), Carla (Greg), Shelsea, Ian, Jenna (David) and Cassie; five great grandchildren and one due in June; also several nieces; nephews and cousins, including a special cousin Marie Zarzaca. She was a member of Church of the Holy Family, Endwell and the Monday afternoon Club. Stella was a kind, generous and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, affectionately known as "GG", who was devoted to her family and her church. The family would like to thank all of her caregivers, for all the compassionate care shown to her, during the last few years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 11 am at Church of the Holy Family. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church, Monday from 10 am, until Mass time at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell, NY 13760.

Dear Family, You have our deepest sympathy. Stella was a class act and I've known her since I was a young girl.Can still see her in her kitchen making sauce with her pretty apron and heels on. Such a lady. She will be missed. LOVE.
