Endwell: Julie Andrascik, 84, of Endwell, passed away Saturday evening, May 11, 2013, at her home. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Piech; five brothers, John, Michael, William, George and Andrew Mihalko. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Richard Andrascik, Endwell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Sue Andrascik, Endwell, Ron and Kim Andrascik, Johnson City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patti and Paul Blazey, Newark Valley, Marianne and Mark Russell, NC; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Lois Andrascik, Angela and Colleen Mihalko; a special cousin, Sister Norma Mihalko; and a special friend, Debbie; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Family, Endwell, a former Endicott-Johnson employee and a former waitress. Julie was well known for her baking and cooking talents, and was affectionately known as the "Cookie Lady". She enjoyed playing cards and visiting casinos. She was a person with a kind heart that would help out everybody and anybody in need. Julie will be truly missed by all who knew her and loved her. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Family, Endwell. Burial will follow in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Andrascik may be made to the Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis St., Endwell, NY 13760.
