To the Shaub family, I was sorry to hear of Freds passing. Freds sense of humor and knowledge of 50s rock and roll made working with him a pleasure i will not soon forget. Please accept my condolences and apology for not being able to attend his services. Robert Gitchell (Gitch, Binghamton NY)

God saw you getting tired.
A cure was not to be,
so he put his arms around you
and whispered, “Come to Me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you,
and saw you slip away.
Although we love you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
he only takes the best.
You will be missed, Fred.

I’m sorry that we Coke guys did not get down to see Fred before he passed on. We that worked with Fred at Coca-Cola will not forget the good times
we had when we were in his company. At lest we had the opportunity to sit down and reminisce with him over a cup of coffee recently. We will all miss Fred, as he was one of kind.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
“May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.”

Dear Janet, Billy, and family; I am very sorry to hear the passing of Freddy. He was a wonderful man who I respected a great deal. I will always remember the times when I worked at Coca-Cola for a while. I also enjoyed times when Fred and Janet would come through my line at Giant and chit-chat with me. I also enjoyed the time of jamming with Billy on the drums. The world was a better place because of people like Fred. Janet you have lost your best friend and my heart goes out to you. May the love of Christ comfort you during this time.

It was a very quiet day at school yesterday. We were missing our Dear Fred. But I can already hear the laughter in heaven as the angels are meeting him and realizing what a gem he is. And Dawn and Ray are hand in hand with their father again. Rest in peace Fred.
