Barton: Bonnie Lou Cole, 65, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014. She was born in Waverly, NY on April 21, 1949, the daughter of the late Herbert Sr. and Margaret (Shumway) Brink. She was predeceased by her husband, WWII Veteran Miles R. Cole, Sr. Bonnie Lou is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Miles, Jr. and Kathy Cole; her daughter and son-in-law, Clover and Evan Perrotta; her stepdaughters, Rebecca and Ronald Richards, Nancy Gallatin, Jane and Annie Flowers; her grandchildren, Jacob Cole, Michelle and Joseph Taylor, Trenton and Tammy Perrotta; her great-grandchildren, Kamren and Kollen Westbrook, Karsen Taylor; many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Billie, Henry, John and Herbert Brink, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Bonnie Lou was a longtime farmer, operating MiBon farms along with her husband. She was an avid supporter of Tioga County 4-H as well. She had a passion for animals of all kinds and loved horses, especially her pride and joy, Prince. Bonnie Lou was devoted to her family and was always there to give whatever she could to help others in need. Family and friends are invited to visit at Richards Funeral Home, Rte. 17c West, Owego, NY on Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Freeland, Pastor of the Flemingville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Flemingville Cemetery.
