David A. Black Obituary
Black, David A.

Binghamton: Our beloved son, brother, and uncle, David A. Black, 31, was suddenly taken from us Friday, August 24, 2012. "Uncle Dave" loved basketball and motorcycles. His family was his most prized possession. Everyone knew Dave and Dave knew everyone, he was the guy who lit up the room with his spirit and humor. He never met a stranger, whether he was playing basketball, enjoying time at the lake, or tooling around the farm on a four wheeler, who did not become a friend. He was the one that brought the excitement and laughter. Although he was taken at such a young age, the memories and stories he left us will live on forever. David is survived by his parents, Rodney and Janice Black, Binghamton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessica and Chris Gardner, Mooresville, NC and Lisa and Brett Nickerson, Port Crane; nieces and nephews, Jeremy David Black, Alex Gardner, Joshua Nickerson, Kathryn Gardner and Sarah Nickerson. He leaves behind godparents, Joseph and Maureen Johnson, Binghamton; girlfriend, Oliva Gutierrez, Binghamton; a large extended family and many close friends

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012, at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton.
