of Binghamton: David L. Arnold, 62 of Binghamton passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning September 12, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Margaret Arnold; four brothers, Dickie, Ronnie, Bob, and Karl. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lynn Arnold, Binghamton; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Daniel and Susan Arnold, Scott Arnold; a daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Bill Steen, all of Binghamton; six beautiful grandchildren who meant the world to him, Kirsten, Allyson, Mason, Aidan, Jamison, and Coleson; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Peg Arnold, Coventry, NY, Bill and Carol Arnold, Binghamton, Gary and Debbie Arnold, Port Crane; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Novak, Binghamton, Pat and Byron White, Susquehanna, PA; a sister-in-law, Virginia Arnold, Binghamton; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. He was an employee of National Pipe & Plastic, in Vestal with 32 years of service. Dave was a former volunteer firefighter for the Town of Binghamton, was an avid bowler, and enjoyed horseshoes and karoake. David's favorite pastimes were Tioga Downs and having a few beers with his extended family at Nip's. He will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main Street, Johnson City Monday at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 p.m. until time of services.
