Corson, Donald, Jr.
Newark Valley: "No farewell words were spoken. No time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why." Following a very brief illness, our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and wonderful friend, 'Bud', passed away suddenly at his home on February 4, 2014. His beautiful, mischievous smile and presence will be greatly missed his loving parents, Donald Sr. and Joyce (Hitchcock) Corson; his twin sister, Julie and sister, Teresa (Teri); paternal grandmother, Esther L. Lainhardt; niece, Brianna Lee Herman; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many good friends, especially Ashley, Heather and Brittany. Bud was born on February 8, 1991 in Johnson City minutes before his twin sister Julie. He attended schools in Newark Valley and received his GED. Bud was a very thoughtful, caring, and respectful young man. He loved country music, 4-wheelin', campfires (especially in Upper Lisle) and he was a great cook! He found great joy in helping others and was especially proud to work with his dad at PANTRYpigs, an organization established by them to help feed needy neighbors in the area through the local food pantries. Friends wishing to honor Bud's memory may kindly consider directing contributions to the PANTRYpigs Feed Account at Ward & VanScoy, Berkshire or Owego at PO Box 359, Owego, NY 13827. There will be a Celebration of Bud's Life and visitation on Tuesday, February 11, at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service with Rev. James Willard officiating. Memories may be shared in Bud's guestbook at macphersonfh.com.
