My deepest sympathy to Frank's wife and family. Mr. K was a one of a kind teacher and had a real positive influence on me. I remember I was sitting in his class the day it came over the PA system that President Kennedy had been killed. Frank was so very compassionate and understanding, because we were all in shock, many of us in tears.
May God Hold You In The Palm Of HIS Hand.

Mr. Kaminsky, Some of my best high school memories took place in your class because you were able to have fun with us, while at the same time sharing valuable lessons. As a teacher now, I know you are truly one of a kind. You will be missed. My sympathies to the Kaminsky family.

To Frank's family--I haven't seen Frank since our high school days at JC, but my memories of him are as fresh as if we were talking today. It is quite a statement of respect for him to see so many entries in this guestbook. Frank was as tough as they come back then, and yet it was a "good" tough--he was always fair and honest and a credit to the "North Side". Ray Severance signed this book, too, and to me Frank and Ray were cut out of the same mold. You wanted them on your side, that's for sure. I can see that he was a terrific influence on those he taught and helped. God bless.....

Frank was a good friend and brother in the Masonic craft. For that I am thankful. I will miss him. He kept himself on the level in all his doings. Once Frank saw my young son working hard clearing tables at a Round Hill Lodge dinner and he gave him $5.00. It meant a lot to my boy to be recognized and rewarded for good effort.Whenever I saw him Frank always asked me how my son was doing. Now as a college graduate in 2009 he's in his own computer business. May our memory of Frank give encouragement to others in our life's path. We read in Job 1:21,"The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away;blessed be the name of the Lord". Amen.

My sympathies go out to the family. Frank was a huge inspiration in my life. I never had him formally for a teacher or class but he took his time to teach me personally after school. I remember him so well teaching me that we are all raised from the time we are small to figure out what job we want to do and who to work for and never to make your own job and work for yourself. Frank would be happy his lesson resonated well with me. Thanks in large part to his mentoring I have had my own business for 11 years and really have him to thank. He will live forever in my memories.

To the entire Kaminsky family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I had Mr. Kaminsky as a teacher and he was just wonderful. He allowed us to have fun and be kids, yet taught us in a way no other teacher had! Little did we know his theory of teaching, but it worked. He had us all leashes and we didn't even know it!!! God bless, he will be forever missed!

To the family of Mr. Kaminsky~
Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of a great man, mentor and teacher. Mr. Kaminsky was someone I always looked up to. He helped encourage me achieve my goals, even though it took longer than I had anticipated. I still remember some of his quotes.."He who snoozes looses" and more important, "Profit is not a dirty word." It was wonderful seeing him in 2008 when he attended our 40th high school reunion. Until we meet again my friend...
