Cerasaro, Gay Lee

Vestal: Gay Lee Cerasaro, of Vestal, passed away Sunday morning, May 25, 2014, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul M. Cerasaro; her parents, Leo and Heide Rought; and her best friend, Carolyn Ligouri. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Schmidt and Bud Pfeil, Karen Cerasaro and Mary Norton; her son, Richard Cerasaro; and her beloved cat, Twinkle; her grandchildren, Ben Schmidt, Heidi Schmidt and Jordan, Chelsea and Lauryl Pfeil; her aunts, Dorothy Kocin and her children Sharon and Al, Janet Allen and Ruth Chapman; her brothers-in-law, Anthony (A.J.) and Sandy Cerasaro, Victor Cerasaro and his son Patrick; also several cousins and many dear friends. She was a lifelong member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, Endicott, and a retired Town of Union employee. Gay was a loving, caring, and generous lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The Cerasaro family wishes to thank the entire staff of Wilson Memorial Hospital ICU for the loving care and compassion that was shown to Gay during this difficult time. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 312 E. Main St., Endicott, with the Rev. Kenneth Wood, Pastor of her church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Gay may be made to the Animal Care Council Program, 131 Washington Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
