Wheeler, George F., III

Vestal: George F. Wheeler III, 69, of Vestal died unexpectedly Sunday March 17, 2013 at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. George was predeceased by his parents George Sr. & Anna, a daughter Tina Marie Wheeler and also aunts, uncles and cousins. George is survived by his sons, George IV, & Christopher (Ivan Reyes); a brother, Larry Wheeler and also an uncle, and cousins; and the mother of his children, Bonnie Wheeler. George was a graduate of Johnson City High School class of 1962. During his working years he worked at Anitec, then GAF, IBM and Wegmans. George was currently employed at BOCES where he shared his sometimes odd sense of humor and Georgeisms with his co-workers. George was very active with the Boy Scouts and was a member of the Camp Masters. He enjoyed visiting his brother Larry in Florida and going to the annual car show in Daytona. He was quick to share his wit and jokes with anyone who would listen. He will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday April 4, 2013 at The Chapel of United Presbyterian Church of Binghamton 42 Chenango Street Binghamton, NY 13901. Friends may call at the Church from 5 PM till the time of the service. Arrangements are being handled by AEGIS CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICES 196 CLINTON STREET BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK.
