George Decker Obituary
Binghamton: George T. Decker died peacefully on October 30, 2012, under the full moon, in the midst of one of the biggest storms in East Coast history, on his 57th wedding anniversary. Born and raised in Greene, NY, he married Alice M. Carroll from Boston, MA and they spent a wonderful 56 years together. The family started in Binghamton, NY where they lived for over 40 years. George is the truly beloved father of five children including: Dr. J. Elliot and Carole Decker (Flemington, NJ); Claudia and Robert Dubuque (Sturgeon Bay, WI); Marita and Christopher Zadina (Glencoe, IL); Janine and John Harrison (Hadley, MA) and Larry and Kate Decker (Germantown, MD). He is also the best grandfather to 13 grandchildren. After graduating Boston College Law School, George had an active private law practice, taught real estate law, and was the owner-broker of the Coldwell Banker George T. Decker Real Estate team. He was a steadfast leader and most generous contributor to the community and only left Binghamton after retirement to spend as much time sailing as he possibly could. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on November 17, 2012 in the chapel of St. John Neumann Parish, at 620 North Bestgate Road, Annapolis, Maryland, 21401. I was so saddened to learn of George's death. What great friends my late husband, Dick, and I had with George and Alice. We were all newly weds and spent many an evening with

Oddity I will remember George living on N. Canal Street, Greene and what a wonderful dancer he was with his sister Patsy. I true friend to all that past his way. He is now resting in peace. God Bless.
