Endicott: John Hritcko, 91, of Endicott, passed away Monday evening, February 25, 2013, at Willow Point Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Hritcko; his parents, George and Anna Hritcko; brothers, George and Joseph Hritcko; sisters, Anna, Mary, Helen and Margaret; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Helen Hamarich. He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, the Very Rev. Archpriest David Hritcko, Simpson, PA, John and Evelyn Hritcko, Sugar Land, TX, Dr. Philip and Lorraine Hritcko, Rocky Hill, CT; two grandsons, George and Maria Hritcko, Houston, TX, John David Hritcko, Sugar Land, TX; his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Helen Hritcko, Endwell; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Susanna Thachik, Clymer, PA, Elaine and Clifford Wilson, Elyria, OH, Dorothy Gerrick, Elizabethtown, PA, Andrew Hamarich, Vestal; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a member of St. Basil the Great Russian Orthodox Church, Simpson, PA, a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII, and a retired IBM Endicott employee. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9:00 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, and at 9:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church, 210 Hill Ave., Endicott, with the Very Rev. Archpriest John Sorochka officiating. Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home Friday from 4-7 p.m. A Parastas Service will be held Friday 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Hritcko may be made to St. Basil the Great Russian Orthodox Church, 33 Midland St., Simpson, PA 18407-1245.
