Johnson City, New York: Lois J. Beavan, 85, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Mrs. Beavan was predeceased by two sisters, Cora "Jean" and her husband, Joseph Ackerman; Margaret "Midge" Kishpaugh; brother, Lloyd "Jack" Cornett. She is survived by her husband, Harold Beavan; children and their spouses, Randy O'Connor, Craig and Linda O'Connor, Sharon Beavan, Bryan Beavan, Robert and Brenda Beavan; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Jean Cornett, Jane Cornett, Charles and Bonnie Cornett; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lois was a member of the Apalachin United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was a former member of Stephen Ministries. She drove bus for many years for the Owego Apalachin School District. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contibutions may be made in Lois J.
