Mike Randesi Sr. went to join his wife Eva of 69 years in heaven on Sunday, December 30, 2012. He was two days shy of his 99th birthday. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Jr. and Dottie Randesi, Las Vegas, NV, Steve and Diane Randesi, San Jose, CA, Jim and Carol Randesi, Endwell; nine grandchildren, Michael (Stephanie) Randesi, Kevin Randesi, Karen (Eric) Gordon, Jeff (Shelly) Randesi, Joey (Crystal) Randesi, Anthony, Julia, Lisa, and Celia Randesi; two step-grandsons, Alan (Diana) Frederick, Richard Levourne; 5 great-grandchildren, Michael Randesi, Anna and Mia Gordon, Nico Randesi, Dominic Randesi; a step-great-granddaughter, Ella; a special niece, Yvonne Billings and her husband Jerry; and his special pal, Toto. Also, most of all, the family would like to thank Aunt Betty Lucas for her loving care. They will remember Grandpa as the man who could do anything: draw, build, fix things, upholster, sing, and play the ukelele. Mike was one of the last 50-year employees of Endicott-Johnson. His hard work and loyalty are remembered to this day. Mike was also a good golfer who played the game well into his eighties. His main passion was bowling and he was one of the area's best for many years. Mike was a member of the Endicott and Binghamton Bowling Halls of Fame. He was recognized for his many achievements, including bowling two 300 games in the span of 8 days in 1963. Mike's bowling career spanned 8 decades. Even into his nineties he was teaching and sharing his bowling knowledge with anyone who wanted his help. The family wishes to thank the staff at Absolut in Endicott for making his last days comfortable. Mike was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott, and the North Side Seniors. He will be missed by his many friends and family. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 207 Hayes Ave., Endicott. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph's Church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Joseph's Church, 207 Hayes Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
