Patricia "Pat/Patti" Pierce-LaCaprara Obituary
Pierce-LaCaprara, Patricia (Pat/Patti)

Patricia (Pat/Patti) Pierce-LaCaprara, 50, was taken from us cruelly and far too early on July 8, 2013. There are no words to express the pain that is left behind with her senseless death. She will be missed by family and her many friends. Patti went home to the Lord and the waiting arms of her father, Hugh I. Pierce who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her brother, Frank A. Pierce and a Great niece, Kayla Fuller. She is survived by her mother, Beverly ( Bailey) Pierce, Vestal; sisters, Linda Fort (Mark DiLuzio), Binghamton; Suzanne Williams (James Lamb), Glen Aubrey, nephews, Gary (Tanya) Fuller, Pittston, PA, Greg Fuller,(Donna Cooper) Linden, IN and Quan Fort Binghamton; great niece, Morgan Fuller, Old Forge, PA; great nephews, Jarid, Julian & Jesse Fuller, Pittston, PA and Nathan Fuller, Scranton, PA; a special niece, Rhonda (Patrick) Beatty & family, S. Abington, PA; uncle Richard Bailey, SC; and several cousins. Patti also had so many friends she loved dearly, Janet & Cliff, Barb, Pat Glezen, Pat Forkey, Betty & Carrie, and so many more that we hope you forgive us for not being able to mention all her loving friends. She loved you all so very much. Pat worked for UHS Wilson Medical Center for 25 years, as a role model who "touched many lives for the better." As an Implant Technician in the Surgical Department, her hard work & dedication to her job were always with patience, safety & quality outcomes in mind. Her colleague's statement said, "We want the world to know how much she will be missed. Her spirit and energy cannot be replaced." Patti loved to be outdoors, especially if there was a campfire/camping involved. And as is a family tradition, she was a bit of a TVholic. There will be calling hours on Monday, July 22 prior to interment, from 1-3 p.m., at Vestal Hills, Towers of Memories Chapel. (Please meet at the office at Vestal Hills at 1 p.m. if you need to be directed to the Chapel) Immediately following the services at Vestal Hills, there will be a "Celebration of Life" at Charley's on Harry L. Drive in Johnson City from 3 p.m. -7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patti's name to the MS Foundation or the Crime Victims Assistance Center. Online condolences may be made at
