Richard (Rick) Tanzini Obituary
Tanzini, Richard R.

Of Endicott

January 17, 1975 -

May 21, 2013

Richard (Rick) Tanzini, 38, went to be with our Lord suddenly on May 21, 2013. He is survived by his dad and mom, Robert and LaVaun Tanzini; his sister, Robin Tanzini; and his beloved "angels", daughters, Macey Lynn and Kara LaVaun Tanzini, all of Endicott. His little girls were the lights of his life. He will always be remembered in the thoughts and prayers of his grandma, Wilma Kovac; his great aunts, Beatrice Angotta and Dawn Allen; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rick enjoyed working with his hands and worked in many phases of building and construction in New York and California. He had a "green thumb" and worked in gardening and landscaping in North Carolina. Rick loved all kinds of music and played bass guitar in a band with his "bestest" cousin, Joey Terenzi of Apalachin. Rick was also a lover of animals, the outdoors, and nature. Rick will always be remembered for his unique laughter and his desire to start each new day with a fresh outlook and a smile. Rick would want his loved ones to remember him with a smile and a good deed. Per his wishes, no formal services will be held. His family will hold a celebration of life gathering in the near future. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Rev. 21:4. Donations in Rick's memory may be sent to LaVaun Tanzini, 136 Twist Run Rd., Endicott, NY 13760 for a trust fund for his children or to any . Arrangements are by the J.F. Rice Funeral Home Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, NY.
