Lynch, John J.
John Joseph Lynch, 67, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on April 16, 2012 after a brief illness. John was born to John and Ruth Lynch on December 22, 1944 in Binghamton, NY. He graduated from Binghamton Central High School. John enjoyed a career as a photographer with IBM in Endicott, NY until his retirement in 1994, at which time he relocated to Charlotte. John loved photography and all things Irish, but most of all he loved his family and especially his 7 grandchildren. John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Whited Lynch; three children, Colleen (Eric) Dees of Mint Hill, Kate (Joe) Fabrizi of Charlotte and Chuck (Louise) Lynch of Huntersville; 7 grandchildren, Bailey and Tara Dees, Ben and Cam Fabrizi and Charlie, Georgie and Gracie Lynch; sister, Kathleen (Mark) Switzer of Voorhesville, NY; and brother, Patrick (Diane) Lynch of Lake Page, PA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Service Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Funeral services will be private.
