Binghamton: James W. Osborne, 90, went home to be with his Lord Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Arlene (NeNe) and brother, Harry Osborne. He is survived by three children, Cindy (Myron) Sackett, Jamie Osborne, James (Ozzie) Osborne Jr.; grandchildren, Robert Nicolai, Jenny (Phil) Barbee, Michael (Kristi) Frantillizzi, Brian Frantillizzi, Larry Gincerowski, Kathie (George) Bickham, Allison Osborne, and Morgan Osborne; great-grandchildren, Miranda Bickham and Carmine Frantillizzi; brothers and sisters, Pearl Glatzel, Lavern Osborne, Bill Osborne, Edith (Pea Picker) Stilloe, and Dolores Snyder; special friend, Holly Gerhlein. He was a professional painter for over 60 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and received the Purple Heart. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brother Bill. Jim's favorite subject to talk about was cars. Thank you to the awesome staff on Ross 1, Dr. Michael Ednie and "A J", and the pastors at First Assembly of God Church and Chaplain Dave Seaver. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 3, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at the Wm. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson with Rev. Robert Gaska and Rev. Randy Eliason officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Teen Challenge, 124 Furman St., Syracuse, NY 13205.
