Jackie (Stein) Mead, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 8, 2014. She was born in Buffalo, NY December 14, 1957. She is predeceased by her father Jack and mother Phyllis Stein and her twin babies. She worked at Jane's Diner for many years. She was blessed with many friends who became her family. She will also be missed by her best friend her cat Pretty Boy. Jackie was a genuine, generous and honest person, and will be known for her caustic sense of humor. She loved planting flowers and cooking for everyone and her love for the Buffalo Bills. A celebration of Jackie's life will be held on Sunday February 16th at the East Side Tavern on Robinson St at 1pm and on Monday February 17th at Jane's Diner in Conklin from 3 until 5pm. We love you and you will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Project Paw in Jackie's memory.
