Endicott: George Kondrach, 88, of Endicott, passed away peacefully March 2, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Mary Kondrach; his daughter, Cynthia (Kondrach) Esposito; two sisters, Mary Vozdovic and Anne Benjamin; four brothers, John, Peter, Michael and Joseph Kondrach; also several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Theresa (Terry) Kondrach; his son, George (Debbie) Kondrach; his son-in-law, Butch Esposito; five grandchildren, Kelly Esposito, Tom (Robin) Esposito, Mark Esposito, Brad and Brian Kondrach; his great-grandson, Grayson Esposito-Krier; his sister, Julie Litwin; also several nieces and nephews. George was a well known businessman in Endicott, starting out as a Door to Door salesman, selling fresh fruits and vegetables from his truck and eventually establishing a permanent fruit and vegetable store. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 1700, VFW, Post 1449, the former Alhambra Sidona Caravan #212 and St. Ambrose Church, Endicott. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:00 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Ave., Endicott where a funeral mass will be held. Entombment will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to either Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850 or Meals on Wheels of Western Broome, 705 W.
