Weymouth, Gladys I.

Johnson City: 84, went home to be with her Lord on April 19, 2014. She was predeceased by her father and mother George and Mildred Griffin; brothers Simon, Wayne, James, and George Griffin; and sister June Dean. She is survived by her sons David and Carol Weymouth, Robert and Sigrid Weymouth; daughter Barbara and Jim Zweig; brother Harry and Theresa Griffin; sister Joyce Roberts; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Gladys was a devout member of the First Baptist Church of Johnson City where she was involved with the Lamplighters Sunday school class. She loved sharing her many devotionals and blessing with others. Her inspirational cards to others will be remembered by everyone. In her younger days, Gladys worked for the Federal Bake Shop where she took pride in her work as a professional cake decorator. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10AM at the First Baptist Church of Johnson City, 1321 Reynolds Road, Johnson City with Pastor Jim Murphy officiating. Burial will be held in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-7PM at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St, Johnson City. Gladys wanted all of you to know that she is now home in Heaven!
