Barber, Norma J.

Johnson City: 58, died on Wednesday April 23, 2014 at Wilson Hospital. She was predeceased by her father Willard Kolb and sister Carol Dusel. She is survived by her husband of 38 years John Barber of Johnson City; sons Matthew and Ryan Barber both of Johnson City; mother Marie Kolb of Johnson City; sisters Donna Marsh of Cortland NY, Elaine Kolb of West Haven CT.; Betty Butterworth of Weatherford, TX; also several nieces and nephews. She was employed by the Broome Developmental Center Food Service. She was a member of the Unity of Light Spiritual Center in Vestal where she was a healing practitioner. Norma loved to write and read poetry. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 1pm at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc. 428 Main Street Johnson City. Her pastor the Rev. Kathy Sue Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday at 12 Noon until the time of the service at the Barber Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Hospice Program at Lourdes Hospital 4102 Vestal Road Vestal, NY 13850
