Griffith, Judy (Catanzaro)

Judy (Catanzaro) Griffith, 52, lost her short but courageous battle with cancer on April 24, 2014. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Teresa & Nicholas DelSanto; paternal grandparents, Angela & Dominick Catanzaro. She is survived by her parents, Angeline and Joseph Catanzaro; her fiancé, Brian Hasbrouck; her children who were her pride and joy, Jessica Griffith (Steve), Jason Griffith; her brother, Joseph Catanzaro; her twin sister, Mary (Gerald) Serbonich; her uncle, Cosimo (Rita) DelSanto; her aunt, May Adamo; her nephews, Alan (Maryann) Serbonich, Matthew Serbonich; and many loving Griffith nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her future stepchildren, Lindsay (Zach) Murphy, Michael Hasbrouck. She was a graduate of Union Endicott High School, a longtime employee of Binghamton University and a former employee of Azon Corp. Judy enjoyed golfing, going to the beach, wineries and traveling to see her children. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by many people who knew her to be a compassionate, warm and caring person. Her contagious smile and fun loving personality will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 306 Odell Ave. Endicott with the Rev. James P. Serowik, officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, Sunday from 4 to 7PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to a trust fund to further her children's education. Please make checks payable to Mary A.
