Binghamton: Helen Eckelberger 101, died on Sunday April 27, 2014. She was a resident of Good Shepherd Fairview Home for 22 years. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Eckelberger, parents Dennison and Kate Clark, brothers Erle and Paul Clark, sister and her husband Maida and Peter Maye. She is survived by her niece Dorothy Croteau of Johnson City, several other nieces and nephews. A special niece Sylvia Eckelberger; step daughter Beverly Spacik and family. Helen was retired from Ideal Hospital. She was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church of Binghamton. At her request there will be no funeral services. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are made through the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St, Johnson City. Helen's family is thankful to the staff at Good Shepherd Home for the compassionate care she received there.
